A turtle lays her eggs on the warm beach sand, leaving behind a legacy for the next generation, trusting in a natural process refined over millions of years. Each egg represents an investment in the future, as her offspring will embark on an extraordinary journey. Upon hatching, the tiny turtles instinctively navigate towards the sea, driven by an innate understanding fundamental to all animal life, embodying the connection between nature and survival.
We begin life in our mothers' wombs, a place of warmth and safety. As we emerge, our senses awaken to the world’s complexities. Newborns, filled with energy and curiosity, absorb their surroundings. This early life phase is marked by a drive to explore and connect, forming the foundation for our future selves. Turtles and humans alike share an instinctual process guiding them through life's early stages, showcasing the continuity of existence across species. Human complexity allows us to be creators, but we must understand inclusion and accept our mortality to claim such a role. Imagination shapes our lives, but do we think with a conscious attitude? Do we truly understand our thought processes and their creation? but most important what is the difference between imagination and reality? After years of meditation, I've come to an emotional realisation that I truly know nothing about reality beyond what I perceive through my senses. I am at peace with this understanding and aware that to achieve a peaceful world, I must cultivate peace within myself. However while my senses are limited, the possibilities that Mother Nature presents are boundless if I can broaden my sensory experience. Just as muscles need regular activity to stay in good shape, the senses require active stimulation to cultivate the quiet space necessary for Organic Intelligence to emerge within the Self.
What is Organic Intelligence? Organic Intelligence is a concept that emphasises our innate ability to connect with the natural world and the rhythms of Life. It suggests that, much like physical fitness, our mental and emotional well-being thrives on engagement and awareness. While beauty is often perceived subjectively, certain phenomena, such as a sunrise, are considered universally beautiful because they adhere to the natural order of things. This universality highlights our shared human experience and the intrinsic value of nature's cycles.
Organic Intelligence is our capacity to align with this flow, embracing the harmonious state that deeply connects us to the Earth and the daily miracle of life. By fostering a relationship with our senses and the environment, we can enhance our awareness and appreciation of the world around us. Cultivating Organic Intelligence involves nurturing our senses and engaging with the natural order, allowing us to experience a profound connection to life itself.
